  • Tribe – a leading independent contract manufacturer of craft beers on behalf of third parties as well as with its own proprietary brands. Provision of senior debt for expansion capital, working capital and equipment financing;
  • Calibre Group – a leader in providing integrated services for early-stage asset evaluation and project feasibility studies through design, project management and delivery, to ongoing support, optimisation and construction. Participation in a syndicated senior secured debt facility to refinance existing debt, support working capital and pay down a portion of subordinated preference share capital and transaction costs;
  • Australian Ceramics Engineering – a cutting edge supplier of products and services designed to overcome issues of excessive wear within the mining industry, providing high-grade custom ceramic and metallic wear liners. Provision of senior debt financing MBO and working capital;
  • Pioneer Credit – a prominent financial services business specialising in the acquisition and servicing of non-performing retail and commercial debt portfolios. Participation in the provision of a senior secured debt facility for refinancing and growth capital;
  • FIFO Capital – a leading Australian provider of business financing predominantly offering invoice finance, supply chain finance and trade finance solutions to SMEs and corporates. Joint venture agreement entering the growing invoice finance market;
  • Jack’s Creek – a leading vertically integrated producer and exporter of high-quality beef, specialising in grain fed Wagyu and Angus. Provision of a senior secured base loan facility for working capital and to meet ongoing capital needs;
  • Hub Australia – national provider of co-working office space. Acquisition of a significant shareholding in Hub by Wingate providing equity capital to enable a nationwide expansion;
  • NOW FINANCE – a leading non-bank personal loan specialist with multiple distribution channels and a state-of-the-art technology platform. Provision of equity capital to build the business together with ongoing debt funding to support the growth of the loan book.

Kevin has over 20 years’ experience working in Australia and internationally in investment management, corporate advisory and strategy with a particular focus on private equity.

Kevin started his career as a corporate lawyer at Herbert Smith Freehills, and has held roles at AT Kearney, Babcock & Brown and was a founding Director of Alceon.

Simon has 20 years of corporate finance experience, including 18 years in credit investing.  Prior to Wingate, Simon was a Director in the High Yield Group MacKay Shields in New York, and a Partner at Brigade Capital Management in New York, Zurich, London and Sydney.  Simon holds a BS in Commerce from UVA and an MBA from UCLA.
