  • A leading independent contract manufacturer of craft beers on behalf of third parties as well as with its own proprietary brands. Provision of senior debt for expansion capital, working capital and equipment financing;
  • A prominent financial services business specialising in the acquisition and servicing of non-performing retail and commercial debt portfolios. Participation in the provision of a senior secured debt facility for refinancing and growth capital;
  • A leading Australian provider of business financing predominantly offering invoice finance, supply chain finance and trade finance solutions to SMEs and corporates. Joint venture agreement entering the growing invoice finance market;
  • A leading vertically integrated producer and exporter of high-quality beef, specialising in grain fed Wagyu and Angus. Provision of a senior secured base loan facility for working capital and to meet ongoing capital needs;
  • National provider of co-working office space. Acquisition of a significant shareholding in Hub by Wingate providing equity capital to enable a nationwide expansion;
  • A leading non-bank personal loan specialist with multiple distribution channels and a state-of-the-art technology platform. Provision of equity capital to build the business together with ongoing debt funding to support the growth of the loan book.

Selwyn Schroeder

Managing Director, Corporate Investments

Selwyn has over 20 years’ experience in property and corporate finance in Australia and internationally. His extensive experience includes credit risk approval, credit portfolio management as well as the management of distressed corporate and property debt and equity portfolios.

Selwyn has experience in driving performance and corporate turnarounds at board level in Australia, New Zealand, and the UK.

Joel Zanoni

Executive Director Director, Corporate Investments

Joel has over 15 years’ experience working in investment management and corporate advisory, focusing on private equity and private lending.

Prior to joining Wingate Corporate Investments, Joel held various roles with Macquarie Capital and Credit Suisse.

Yoni Cukierman

Director, Corporate Investments

Yoni has over a decade of experience across private investments, M&A, strategy, financing and capital markets.
Yoni previously held positions at Credit Suisse and Toll Group, both in Australia and Singapore.

Yoni completed his MBA at IE Business School, where he graduated summa cum laude and led the private equity association.

Daniel Shap

Associate Director, Corporate Investments

Daniel has over eight years of experience in finance, specialising in corporate credit with a focus on securitisation and structured debt across public and private companies.

Daniel commenced his career as a corporate advisor in the Deloitte M&A Transaction Services team where he completed his Chartered Accounting qualification.

Daniel Max

Associate Director, Corporate Investments

Daniel has nearly 20 years’ experience working in corporate credit, with varied focuses, including investment banking, investing and trading, and advisory.

Beginning his career in New York, Daniel held roles at Merrill Lynch and Lazard Capital Markets. Since relocating to Melbourne in 2015, and before joining Wingate, Daniel worked in Deloitte Australia’s Financial Restructuring Group and assisted Victoria’s Department of the Treasury in the management of their state-sponsored insurers.

Sam Cohen

Senior Analyst, Corporate Investments

Sam has 5 years of finance experience, primarily focused on mid-market private debt and equity transactions.

Sam is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Monash University (Accounting and Finance).

Jordan Smith

Senior Analyst, Corporate Investments

Jordan has 6 years’ finance experience specialising in mid-market and large corporate private debt.

Jordan was previously in Corporate / Institutional Banking at HSBC and CBA and holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Master of Applied Finance from Monash University.

Lesley Chan

Senior Analyst, Corporate Investments

Lesley has over 8 years of experience in structured finance and mid-sized private debt transactions. Prior to joining Wingate, Lesley was a manager at KPMG in Corporate Finance and was in various roles at Westpac and ANZ.

Lesley holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) and Bachelor of Law from the University of New South Wales and is a Chartered Accountant.
