Mark Harrison has more than 25 years of experience in the Australian property and property finance sectors.
Since assuming his role at Wingate in 2008, Mark has overseen the growth of the property division into one of Australia’s most active property debt and equity platforms. Mark’s extensive experience in property includes direct property investment, development, and structured capital transactions, both as principal and lender.
Head of Originations, VIC
With more than 25 years of experience in property development, Jamie is well-known and trusted in the industry. He is responsible for driving new business in property debt and equity transactions.
He has acquired, structured, and delivered residential apartment, townhouse, and land subdivision projects across Australia. Based in Melbourne, Jamie is responsible for the origination, evaluating, and managing real estate investment opportunities across the capital structure, including senior debt, mezzanine debt, and equity investments.
Prior to joining Wingate, Jamie was an Executive Director with Oliver Hume and has also held senior executive roles with private, government, and listed companies.
Head of Originations, NSW
Matthew has over 19 years of experience in the structured real estate finance industry and is currently an Executive Director with Wingate Property, based in Sydney.
Matt is responsible for client relations, sourcing, structuring, and executing a diverse range of debt transactions, including senior and subordinated debt facilities. Having spent over eight years with Wingate, Matt has held numerous positions across the organisation, including roles in originations, credit risk and analysis, and capital raising. Previously, Matt was an Executive Director at PGIM Real Estate, where he was responsible for originating both core and high yield real estate debt opportunities. Prior to that, he held various positions at Investec Bank (Australia) Limited and the Property Council of Australia within the research division.
Matt holds a bachelor’s degree in Property Economics (Property Analysis) from the University of Technology Sydney.
Head of Risk and Analysis, Property
Michael has over 25 years of experience in real estate finance and property development including 10 years at Wingate.
Prior to joining Wingate, he held roles as Fund Manager of Macquarie Real Estate Equity Funds and within Development Capital at Macquarie Group. Michael was integral in acquiring, structuring, and delivering residential projects across Australia. He also provided property advisory services for infrastructure and structured finance projects.
Michael has also held various banking and finance roles at ANZ and HSBC in Melbourne and London. At Wingate, Michael is responsible for assessing risk accross the property portfolio.
