Australia’s largest privately-owned coworking operator, Hub Australia (Hub), supported by strategic stakeholder Wingate, has launched its second Melbourne coworking facility within the historic Georges Building. Located at 162 Collins Street, the new facility joins Hub's Melbourne flagship, Hub Southern Cross, which occupies part of the 1917 Mail Exchange opposite Southern Cross Station. Together these two facilities account for half of Hub Australia's national footprint of over 20,000 sqm.
The Georges Building, one of Collins Street’s best-known buildings and once home to the prestigious Georges Department Store, continues Hub ‘s focus of transforming iconic buildings into premium coworking spaces. Hub is now able to provide a premium coworking facility to growing businesses on the highly sought after “Paris end” of Collins Street.
Having recently opened its flagship Sydney facility, Hub Hyde Park, Hub will open its first Brisbane facility, Hub Anzac Square at 200 Adelaide Street, followed by its third Melbourne facility, Hub Parliament Station, at 1 Nicholson Street next year.
